Eligibility Criteria for Monash University Scholarship 2024
To be eligible for Monash University Scholarship, candidates must fulfill following requirements:
- Required Language: English
- English Language Test requirements for General: (6.5) overall band with no less than 6 in IELTS and above13 for Reading, Listening – Institutional-Based Test of English Language is regarded to as & Writing or TOEFL general test minimum score ranging at the level denotes within a range).
- English Language Test requirements for Arts, Business and Economics: Overall (no band less than 6.5) in IELTS and a total above 94 points, reading:18-20; listening:20 & speaking/writing at least with scores of 23 average
- Eligible Countries: All world countries
- An International student.
- A New Zealand citizen.
- An Australian citizen.
- Australian permanent resident.
- Australian humanitarian visa holder.
- A four year full time bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, which normally includes an honors 1 or 2A research component.
- A course that will give a level determined as equivalent to an honor degree 1 or second class (upper) in the relevant domain.
- An advanced degree beyond bachelor level that requires work, typically involving a major research element (at least 25% of one full time equivalent year’s work), including a thesis. In most cases, an honor’s 2A is the expected grade for research thesis or project. In the absent of grading, examiners’ reports will be considered.
- Have qualifications that are regarded by GRC as equivalents.
- A candidate’s scholarship eligibility depends on his/her academic record, research publication and prior researcher experience.
- Have not held an Australian Government or Monash recipient of a Postgraduate Research Award for more than six months.
