Scholarship Benefits
The grant can cover for one month and only for the applicant up to 4,400 EUR (5,000 Dollars):

✔ Living expenditure for the first month including daily allowance based on cost of living in a hosting country/city, amount that includes transport spending and all other coverage costs. - have at the time of application a PhD in Mathematics
- Competing candidates should be from a developing country at the time of application as per IMU
- have a job in the university/ research center.

Application Procedure
The Applications for the fully-funded Abel Visiting Scholar Program 2024 should be submitted not later than four months before intended start date. Applications will be reviewed and fellowships awarded every four months by the selection committee. The announcement is made on the Abel Visiting Scholar Recipients page.
The following deadlines apply:
- Seasons April 30, 2024 for visits between September 1 and Feb 28.
- August 31, 2024 - for January - April visits
- 28 of Feb, 2024 for the travel period between May and August in year 204.
