University of Pisa DSU Scholarship 2023-24 in Italy without IELTS

Students hoping to travel bat Italy are awarded the University of Pisa DSU Scholarship on their way there. The scholarship is entirely merit-based. These scholarships available in Europe will pay for the school fees and also cover room and boarding, meals as well as other related costs of sport activities together with stationery material to support the education. The DSU Italian scholarship provided by the University of Pisa allows the students to study for free in Italy.

University of Pisa DSU Eligibility Criteria

Both the EU and non-EU applicants can apply.
The non-EU students should have varying statuses of education.
Family income contribution should be provided by the all applicants.
Additionally, the requirement of having a bachelor's degree for the international students seeking master’s scholarships is also present.
The applicants should not be the beneficiaries of any other international scholarship in Italy.
Moreover, the applicants need to submit a certification by the representative of Italy in their country as a proof that they are not from an affluent family.

Application Procedure

Online Application The deadline for the submission of the online application via Student Service Desk shall typically occur in July every year. Students must apply annually because the grant is valid for one term only.

For Foreign Students

The foreign students should fill in an online request, produce the receipt of payment and the enclosed documents proving family economic state as well as a valid ID.

Other Non-EU Students

Receipt of the translations and legalization documents on family status, income, property (real estate), and movable assets.

Application submission

Each year, the advertisement for DSU scholarships is published in July on www.dsu toscana.net website annually- The application deadline for DSU Scholarship is 6 Feb.

For the initial application year, there is only an annual income ranking. The list also considers the academic merit for the subsequent years.

Result and final ranking

The DSU compiles a consolidated ranking list of the foreigners and also Italians. Provisional ranking lists are typically confirmed each year by the end of September. Final rankings are generally approved annually by the end of November's. The grants allocation will be published on the website www.dsu.toscana.it and can also be accessed via students’ personal section Personal. written communication about results is not to be given to applicants.

Incompatibility

From other merit-based grants allocated by the University of Pisa, DSU grant holders can receive assistance during their first year only upto until € 600.
